Certificate Course in Spoken and Communicative Skills in English Department of English offers Certificate Course in Spoken and Communicative Skills in English to enhance students’ phonetic skills, communicative skills and the knowledge of English grammar. The course has been offered once in the year admitting students from different branches of programs. The focus of the course is English pronunciation, communicative English and essential grammar in use. The teaching pedagogy includes theoretical and practical sessions that proceed with lectures, presentations, screening sessions and hands-on training etc.

Value Added Courses In order to enable students to cope with the syllabi of English in Competitive Examinations, the department of English offers thirty days value added course- English for Competitive Examinations (total 30 contact sessions) once in the academic year. The course covers basics of English focusing the competitive examinations. It includes essay writings, translation work, basic grammar and comprehension, etc. The teaching pedagogy includes theoretical and practice test sessions that proceed with lectures, presentations, screening sessions and practice as well as final tests, etc.
