Research Policy and Research Ethics
Introduction
The institution has an effective and functioning Research Advisory Committee (RAC) that works under the guidance of IQAC and monitors all the research related activities. The RAC in consultation with the IQAC has drafted research policy and code of ethics to check malpractices and plagiarism in research. The research policy of the institution is applicable to the faculty members, students and alumni who are engaged in research and also have research aptitude. Here, the word ‘research’ covers wide range of activities including the publication of research articles in research journals, presentations of research papers in the seminars and conferences, research projects, M. Phil. and Ph. D. programs, etc.

The institution is committed to inculcate research culture and research ethics that will help to achieve originality in research and will also help to reduce academic misconducts.
Research Policy and Code of Ethics
- All faculty members should publish at least two research papers/articles in the reputed research journals having ISSN during the every academic year.
- All faculty members should engage themselves in research programs like M. Phil., Ph.D., Postdoctoral Degree program, Minor and Major Research Project programs, etc.
- All students are instructed to participate in the seminars and conferences actively. They are also instructed to take up students’ research projects sincerely.
- Research should be done by applying proper research methodology resulting in the consistency of thought. It should also offer the scope for future investigations.
- Research should be free from all kinds of academic misconducts such as false interpretation, incorrect & improper claims, discrediting others and intellectual thefts.
- A researcher should pay respect and honor to the earlier researchers to whom he/she has resorted to. Any unpublished data should not be used and the used resources should be acknowledged and cited properly.
