About B.Sc.Botany : BSc.Botany isBachelor's in Botany which is a 3-year undergraduate degree program that focuses on knowledge of the basics of Life Sciences.Green healthy environment. A BSc.Botany degree is considered to be at part with a B.Sc Microbiology/BSc Biotechnology degree in Botany  or Life science.

Started in the year 2016 as a foundation batch of Biology.Offring a practical lab with only 5 microscopes and 20students. In the same year and following year (2017), laboratory and garden development skills program were organized for the non teaching staff. In the year 2018 department was involved in providing garden techniques, training program,workshops to the Teaching staffs. Started from 2016 the first batch of BSc. Botany came out in the year 2018 with 100% results. Till in 2023-2024 BSc. Botany-I Strength was 99, BSc.Botany-II Strength was-49 and BSc.Botany-III strength was 06,Total students are 15471.

               From 2016 to 2023, about 32 students have passed out from BSc.Botany. Some of them 2018 passout students mostly all postgraduated are working in different educational fields as class lecturer after doing courses like M.Sc ,B.ed Highlighted Students like Miss.Trupti Bhalchandra Khot 2019 and Miss. Sudha Shrikant Nalwade 2019 passout students are working as Assistant Professor in ADACS College Hatkanangale. Few students are studied for competitive exams.Some students from 2022 passout started their own Plant Nursery. Mr. Abhijeet Rama Kamble 2023 passout student working as Pharmacist. 

Main aim of Department was to make a better placement of students. Also we organize field, garden visits, Study Tour, Live projects which helpful students for placement.

               Out of the currently working Faculty in our BSc. Botany Department Two posts for Botany  Faculty  and One post for lab assistant are working. And they have good subject knowledge, Good Communication with Students.

Infrastructure of BSc.BotanyLab:

               The BSc.Botany Subject isDepends on field and laboratory work. So we develop good Practical LAB for provide best knowledge and practice to students. In 2016 only 1 commom botany and zoology practical lab and 05 microscopes in now 2023 we have 1Botany Laboratory and 20 microscopes with Good Configuration. Various plant specimens,charts,useful study models,instruments are arranged for students.In front ofthe lab bottle , pot hangings and small terrase garden is also present. Also we provide Digital Class rooms for Teaching Staffs Teachers creates their ownthoughts, PPT Presentations and live programming which easy to learn students. All faculties and students are used this for presentation and knowledge.Also we provides notes in pdf format for all students.

Future Plans forBSc. BotanyDepartment:

               1)  Arrange workshops for BSc. Botany  IIIrd year Passout Students.

               2) Arrange Short Term Courses like Six month RAWE which is not included in university Syllabus.
