BSc. Computer ScienceIsBachelor's in Computer Science, which is a 3-year undergraduate degree program that focuses on knowledge of the basics of Computer Science and software development. A BSc. Computer Science degree is considered to be at par with a B.Tech/BE degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.

Started in the year 2016 as a computer center offering a computer class with only 10 computers and 5 students. In the same year and following year (2017), computer development skills program were organized for the non teaching staff. In the year 2018 department was involved in providing training program in ICT based power point presentation to the Teaching staffs. Started from 2016 the first batch of BSc. Computer Science came out in the year 2019 with 100% results. Till in 2023-2024 BSc. Computer Science – I Strength was 90, BSc. Computer Science -II Strength was-60 and BSc. Computer Science- III strength was 17 total student are 167.

               From 2016 to 2023, about 85 students have passed out from BSc. Computer Science. Main aim of Department was to make a better placement of students. Also we organize Industrial Visits, Study Tour, Live projects which helpful students for placement.

               Out of the currently working Faculty in our BSc. Computer Science department Three posts for computer Faculty  and One post for lab assistant are working. And they have good subject knowledge, Good Communication with Students.

Infrastructure of BSc. Computer ScienceLab:

               The BSc. Computer Science Subject is Totally Depends on Computer. So we develop good computer LAB for provide best practice to students. In 2016 only 1 computer lab and 20 Computers in now 2023 we have 2 Computer Labs and 54 Computers with Good Configuration. Configuration Like Core I5 3rd Generation 8 gb RAM to 16 GB RAM with Branded HP and Dell Company. Also we provide Fast Internet to our Computer Lab. The Internet Speed of our Lab was 100 MBPS (KHLP_UL_100Mbps_Y) from (One Broadband Pvt.Ltd.Kolhapur). In future we expand the Speed upto 350 mbps because we provide WifiFacilty for students. The capacity of our Computer lab was 40 Computers in 1 Lab. Also we provide Digital Class rooms for Teaching Staffs Teachers creates their own blogs, PPT Presentations and live programming which easy to learn students. All faculties are used this ICT Lab. Also we provides notes in pdf format for all students.

Future Plans forBSc. Computer ScienceDepartment:

               1)  Arrange Campus for BSc. Computer Science IIIrd year Passout Students.

               2) Arrange short Term Courses like angular, Firebase, advance Python, Android which not included in university Syllabus.
